Quality Policy

The purpose of FORTH-ICS is to carry out basic, especially applied and technological research, the development of applications and products, the provision of services and the distribution of products in its fields of activity, as well as the connection of its activities with the needs of the Greek and European economy and society.

In order to serve the above purpose, the Management of the Institute of Computer Science of FORTH sets the following goals:

• To provide better and more complete services to its "customers" based on their needs and desires
• To constantly develop the research and educational work produced
• To utilize the research projects to the maximum and optimal extent possible through transparent and meritorious processes for the benefit of the research community
• To implement the institutional framework
• To meet the goals of the research programs within the stipulated time limits
• To design, develop, supply and technically support software as medical device
• To systematically and effectively link research with the production process

For the implementation of the above objectives, the Management and the staff of the Institute commit to:

• The effective and efficient implementation of research programs
• Continuous training and improvement of know-how and staff development
• The offering quality and know-how to customers
• The continuous increase of the produced educational and research work
• The utilization of research results in production processes
• The establishment of a framework of indicators and reviewing it at regular intervals
